The Heart Behind the Bakehouse

Our Story

I started Restoration Bakehouse for a pretty simple reason: I love baking.

I work long days and long hours, and baking has become one of the ways I slow down, clear my head, and find a little rest at the end of a busy day or work week. I love the whole process of it, from pulling out the ingredients to taking something fresh out of the oven.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of baking is getting to share it with other people. I love feeding others, and there's something so satisfying about making something that someone else gets to enjoy. It's even better when it gives family and friends a reason to come together, sit around the table, and just visit with each other.

In our family, we probably eat more baked goods than the average household. We just really love a good sweet treat, and I don't think there's anything wrong with having something delicious to look forward to every now and then.

That's really what Restoration Bakehouse is all about: baking because I love it, sharing it with people I love, and hopefully making someone else's day a little sweeter in the process.
